The exchange rates for major currencies witnessed a slight increase on Thursday, as reported by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar was trading at a buying rate of 279.05 and a selling rate of 281.30 in the open market. The euro saw its buying rate at 300.61 and the selling rate at 303.64. The British pound was exchanged at a buying rate of 359.42 and a selling rate of 362.82. Meanwhile, the Japanese yen recorded a buying rate of 1.85 and a selling rate of 1.89.
In other currencies, the UAE dirham was reported with a buying rate of 76.06 and a selling rate of 76.60. Similarly, the Saudi riyal had a buying rate of 74.43 and a selling rate of 75.00. The interbank market reflected the US dollar at a rate of 279.85.
