The days-old body of a 62-year-old transgender person was recovered from a house in the city’s Baldia Town area on Tuesday.
Authorities were alerted to the scene near Sector 9, where the deceased was found. The Saeedabad police station has been notified of the incident.
The deceased has been formally identified as Liaquat, son of Aashiq Hussain.
Following the discovery, the Edhi ambulance service moved the body to the Civil Hospital Trauma Centre for necessary procedures.
