Dozens arrested during extensive security operations in Islamabad

Following extensive joint search and combing operations in various sectors of the federal capital, thirty suspected individuals, along with one vehicle and 33 motorcycles, have been transferred to relevant police stations for further investigation.

These significant security operations are being conducted as part of concrete measures to ensure foolproof security arrangements in Islamabad, under the direct instructions of Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

Zonal superintendents of police oversaw operations at various locations, including areas falling under Golra, Sahala, Secretariat, Kirpa, Sanbal, Industrial Area, Ramna, and Khanna police stations. Lady police officers also participated in these comprehensive efforts.

During these extensive checks, authorities inspected 546 individuals, 248 residences, 29 hotels, 326 motorcycles, and 123 other vehicles.

Further enhancing security protocols, special checkpoints have been established at all entry and exit points of the city. Patrolling units and special squads are continuously monitoring the entire metropolis, while senior officers are actively present in the field to oversee and review security arrangements.

Citizens are strictly instructed to cooperate with law enforcement agencies during these inspections and to promptly report any suspicious activity. Islamabad Police is committed to taking all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of residents.
