Dr Fehmida concerned about Sindh’s critical situation

Islamabad, August 31, 2020 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister Dr Fehmida Mirza said that the situation in Sindh has become extremely critical due to recent rains and people have been stranded in their homes due to floods. People suffered severe loss of life and property due to government incompetence. After 12 consecutive years in government, they did not take any safety measures. However, a timely warning was issued by the Meteorological Department. The recent rains have proved false their claims of 12-years rule and development.

The Sindh government has turned the province into Mohenjo-Daro in these twelve years. The Federal Minister further said that the Sindh government submerged the lands of many villages and poor people to save the farmhouses / agricultural lands of the influential people. She further said that the Sindh government failed miserably in providing relief to the people and the damage caused by the cracks in the LBOD and its slow repair has been strongly condemned.
