LARKANA:All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA), Population Welfare Department, Sindh, Central President, Mohammad Peeral Dayo, said Wednesday that the employees of the department do not know their strength and unity, while they and their leaders only run behind landlords, capitalists, political leaders, ministers, bureaucracy and other influential people ignoring their power.
He said that there was no enmity with the political people, rather they had good relations with them, as we had a quarrel with the destroyers of the institutions. Dayo said this while addressing a meeting of the employees of the Population Welfare Department in Larkana.
He said that they would not give up on our rights and would continue to fight till the end to protect the institutions, the rights of employees, their protection and injustices, adding those who betray the institutions and the employees will have no future.
Dayo said that traitors and conspirators would be self-destruct. “We will start the struggle after Eid for the rights and protection of all employee jobs. The people who are not with us have nothing to do with us.” The APCA demanded that the director general is a cadre post of the institution, the senior officer of the institution should be made the director general. He said salaries of 405 employees of Ghotki and other districts be released and their contract services be also regularized.
He said old upgradation should be restored and time scale and risk allowance should be given to the employees. The service of the employees should be protected by increasing their pension and group insurance be also paid to them on retirement along with other service benefits which cannot be denied.
Sharif Umrani, Mrs. Irshad Mughal, Abdul Waheed Chandio, Amir Raza Khero, Imran Soomro, Ghulam Ali Panhwar, Mumtaz Abro, Abdul Wahab Mugheri and others were also present on this occasion.
