Encounter with Thatta Police in Ghorabari, Accused Involved in Multiple Crimes Arrested, Accomplice Escapes

Thatta Police today took an injured person into custody after an encounter in Ghorabari, when a fierce exchange of fire occurred between law enforcement officers and a group of suspects within the limits of Gharo Bari police station, near Peer Patho to Gahal Mori Link Road. The arrested person has been identified as Metho, son of Gul Hassan Mallah, resident of Ward City, who is allegedly linked to multiple criminal activities in various local areas.

Initial police investigations reveal that the injured person is involved in multiple crimes, including armed robbery, theft, and illegal snatching of motorcycles. These crimes allegedly occurred in Thatta, Makli, Gharo Bari, and surrounding areas.

Authorities have also seized a firearm and a motor vehicle from the accused’s possession, which are suspected to have been used in the commission of these illegal acts.

The police force is currently verifying the accused’s comprehensive criminal history. Meanwhile, extensive raids are being conducted to apprehend other individuals who managed to escape arrest during the confrontation.

The injured accused has been shifted to a local health center for immediate medical treatment.
