An encounter near CR Pata on Monday between Karachi Defence Society police and alleged robbers culminated in an exchange of fire, resulting in the arrest of two suspects, one of whom is injured.
Defence Police Station officials have identified the arrested individuals as Salman son of Sajid and Hasnain son of Yousuf.
Hasnain was injured during the encounter and has been moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the operation, officers recovered two pistols with ammunition, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the scene.
A case has been registered in District South, and authorities have confirmed that a full investigation into the matter is underway.
