KARACHI: Excise Police Rohri on Monday claimed to have recovered 35kg hashish from a suspicious vehicle and arrested an accused.
According to official information, the Excise Police Rohri, under the supervision of Excise Inspector Qamaruddin Sial, arrested accused Izzatullah Achakzai from Excise Check Post Rohri near Arora University National Highway. Datsun No. WAC-053 Quetta was being used in smuggling 35 kg hashish. The accused has been arrested and investigation has started. The vehicle used in smuggling has also been impounded.
Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Mukesh Kumar Chawla has congratulated the raiding team on the successful operation and said that it was the second successful operation of the Excise Police Rohri in the last one week. He hoped that in the same spirit, they would continue to crack down on drug dealers.
