Fatal Jeep Crash in Havelian Claims Two Lives, Injures Five

A tragic road incident in Havelian claimed the lives of two individuals and left five others wounded after a Jeep overturned in the Magri area on Friday. The vehicle was reportedly carrying eleven people, including children, at the time of the mishap.

Emergency services were dispatched promptly after the crash was reported. Rescue 1122 teams arriving at the location found a chaotic scene and immediately began providing aid to the victims.

First responders transported a total of seven individuals to the Civil Hospital Havelian for urgent medical attention. Three other passengers who sustained only minor injuries were provided with initial care at the site and were later sent home.

At the hospital, two of the victims, identified as Haseeb Ali, son of Shafiq, and Muhammad Rafiq, succumbed to their severe injuries. The five other hospitalized individuals received treatment for their wounds.

Due to the critical nature of their conditions, two of the wounded were later referred to the Ayub Medical Complex for more advanced medical intervention.

The injured who were hospitalized include Sher Afzal, 16-year-old Muhammad Asim, son of Muhammad Nazir, Ehsan, son of Gohar Rehman, Umair Ali, son of Muhammad Sajjad, Qasim, son of Muhammad Ayub, and Muhammad Asif.

Local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances and cause that led to the fatal overturning of the vehicle.
