Foreign Nationals, Suspicious Individuals Detained in Widespread City-Wide Sweep

Authorities have taken two illegally residing foreign nationals and 11 other suspicious persons into custody for further legal proceedings following extensive search and combing operations conducted across various areas of the federal capital.

According to a report by Islamabd police today, the security initiative, carried out on the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, is part of a continuing effort to curb crime and suppress unlawful elements.

Under the supervision of SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, law enforcement personnel meticulously checked 115 individuals, 60 houses, 61 motorcycles, and 17 vehicles during the city-wide sweep.

The SSP Operations stated that the purpose of the security measures is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance safety throughout the metropolis. He confirmed that such operations are being conducted across the district.

Officials added that the Islamabad Police are continuing indiscriminate actions against offenders, including land-grabbing mafias and drug peddlers.

Citizens have been requested to immediately report any suspicious activity to the concerned police station or the emergency helpline ‘Pucar-15.’
