Gold price increases by Rs 4,800, silver rates stable

The domestic bullion market witnessed significant activity on Saturday as gold prices soared to new heights, while silver rates remained completely stable, creating a clear divergence in the precious metals sector.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a substantial increase of Rs 4,800, bringing the new price to Rs 472,062. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 4,116 to Rs 404,717.

The upward trend continued for 22-karat gold, with the price of 10 grams closing at Rs 371,004 after an increase of Rs 3,774. This rise in the domestic market reflected global market trends, where the international price of gold closed at $4,493 after an increase of $48.

In contrast to the volatile gold market, silver prices showed complete stability. The price of 24-karat silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 7,454, with no change compared to the previous day’s trading.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs 6,390. The international silver market also remained calm, with the price holding steady at $69.70, recording no change.
