KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan have increased by Rs1200 per tola after witnessing a hike in the dollar rate in Pakistan on Tuesday.

All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA) has said that the price of 24 Karats of pure gold settled at Rs1,49,500 per tola. The association said the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs1029 to settle at Rs1,28,172.

In the international market, the price of yellow metal was reduced by $12 per ounce to settle at $1,718. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the soaring price of dollar against Pakistan rupee is behind hike in gold prices.
