Islamabad, August 07, 2020 (PPI-OT): President Dr. Arif Alvi says Gilgit Baltistan has the huge potential of tourism and the government is making all out efforts for promotion of this sector. He was speaking at a briefing in Gilgit on Friday on revival of tourism sector in the region. The President said reopening of tourism sector after Covid-19 crisis will bring economic activities in Gilgit Baltistan.
He said under Ehsaas Program, the government has disbursed a huge amount among deserving people in Gilgit Baltistan. The President was also briefed on the progress of Diamer Bhasha Dam project. The President Dr. Arif Alvi will attend the Convocation of Baltistan University tomorrow.
