Government’s claim of economic improvement is a blatant lie: NizameMustafa Party

Chairman of NizameMustafa Party and former Federal Minister of Petroleum, Dr. Haji Muhammad Hanif Tayyab, has strongly criticized the government’s economic policies amid rising inflation, unemployment, and terrorism.

He highlighted the increasing prices of food items, especially sugar, which has reached Rs. 200 per kg. Tayyab questioned the government’s decision to export sugar when it was in surplus and now importing it at higher prices when there is a shortage. He termed this move a grave injustice to the public.

The recent price hikes in petroleum products, diesel, and gas have further burdened the people. Tayyab declared the government’s claims of reducing inflation as false and unjust. He said that even if the government’s figures were correct, the public has not received any relief.

Tayyab demanded that the government resolve the artificial sugar crisis and take effective measures to control inflation.
