In a significant push to bolster the nation’s blue economy, the government has extended a formal invitation to both domestic and international investors, assuring them of complete support for ventures in Pakistan”s maritime sector.
According to an official report, the call for investment was made by Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, the Minister for Maritime Affairs, during his address at the closing ceremony of the second Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference held in the city.
Minister Chaudhry explicitly pledged the government’s full cooperation to potential financiers, aiming to create a favorable environment for capital infusion into maritime-related projects.
Underscoring the strategic importance of this domain, the minister stated that Pakistan’s future prosperity is intrinsically linked with the development of a robust blue economy.
He further noted that concrete measures are already being initiated to enhance and expand commercial activities and trade conducted via the nation’s sea routes.
