Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik announced that the government is establishing a Green Climate Fund, following directives from the Prime Minister, to advance efforts in addressing climate change challenges.
During a news conference, Malik detailed that the fund’s main features are currently under development. He emphasized the resilience of the Pakistani nation in confronting natural disasters and outlined government initiatives aimed at securing a sustainable future.
Malik acknowledged the valuable support from international partners and urged European countries to contribute financially towards the transition to green technology, highlighting the importance of global cooperation in combating climate change.
