The HBL PSL X playoffs are all set to kick off at Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium, with the highly anticipated action resuming on Wednesday, 21 May. The top-ranked Quetta Gladiators will face off against Islamabad United, who are placed second, in the Qualifier, with the first ball scheduled for 7.30pm and the toss at 7pm.
On Thursday, 22 May, Lahore Qalandars will clash with Karachi Kings in Eliminator 1, also starting at 7.30pm. The subsequent Eliminator 2, featuring the loser of the Qualifier against the winner of Eliminator 1, is slated for Friday, 23 May. The playoffs will culminate with the final on Sunday, 25 May.
Islamabad United’s Sahibzada Farhan leads the batting charts, wearing the Hanif Mohammad Cap with 394 runs from 10 matches, including one century and two half-centuries. James Vince of Karachi Kings follows closely with 374 runs, while Fakhar Zaman of Qalandars has accumulated 369 runs.
In the bowling department, Karachi Kings’ Mohammad Abbas Afridi tops the charts with 17 wickets, earning the Fazal Mahmood Cap. Abrar Ahmed, Jason Holder, and Hasan Ali, each with 15 wickets, are hot on his heels.
