Islamabad, April 16, 2020 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister of Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari took notice of inhuman razing of huts in G-11/4 in Islamabad. She said that if any Police official is involved action will be taken immediately. She further added that seventy five families are going to be provided shelter and compensation as well .She also mentioned that she spoke to CDA chairman and Interior Minister. An immediate inquiry has been ordered as to why this action was done apparently without sanction of CDA and Interior.
She also said that CDA Chairman has assured me that shelter and compensation will both be provided with shelter being provided within a couple of hours. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad in his tweet said that Inquiry has been marked and concerned official of enforcement suspended. They say it was a den of professional beggars however the inquiry will find out facts. We are arranging food and shelter for the people on site. Federal Minister of Human Rights also appreciated the quick response of administration.
