The implementation of strategic projects in Pakistan’s industrial and chemical sectors is continuing due to the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Significant progress has been made in Sapphire soda ash project with the support of SIFC, which represents an important milestone for Pakistan’s industrial sector, according to an information today.
Under the initiative, 2.7 cusecs of water have been allotted from Mohajir Canal in Khushab, ensuring the operational viability of the project.
Soda ash is an important industrial raw material used in glass, detergents, textiles and various chemical industries. Increasing local production of soda ash will strengthen the industrial base, reduce dependence on imports and stabilize the supply chain.
