In the United Nations, Pakistan declared intercultural dialogue as the key to addressing contemporary challenges.

Pakistan highlighted the crucial role of intercultural dialogue in solving modern global challenges at a United Nations event and presented diplomacy as the foundation for international cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

During a high-level meeting organized in commemoration of the “Global Day of Intercultural Dialogue” by China’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations today, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador Aamir Khan, highlighted the enduring impact of dialogue in promoting mutual respect, trust, and shared development among civilizations.

Ambassador Khan described Pakistan’s historic role as a center of various cultures and religions, located at the crossroads of the Middle East, South Asia, Central Asia, and Western Asia. He said that the principles of interfaith harmony, diversity, and pluralism are not only part of Pakistani society but also influence its foreign policy.
