Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, inaugurated a comprehensive cancer center at Dow University, describing it as a significant step in the field of healthcare in the province.

He stated that this center is not just a medical facility but the realization of a vision that will become a beacon of hope for countless families.

Murad Ali Shah mentioned that the establishment of the Gamma Knife Radio Surgery Unit in 2021 laid the foundation for cancer treatment, and with the laying of the cornerstone in 2022, this vision became a reality. He further added that the center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology providing medical facilities across all departments.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the cancer center integrates healing, education, and research, and it is our duty to provide quality healthcare services to everyone. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Saeed Qureshi and his team, stating that the Sindh government is working towards facilitating cancer treatment.

Murad Ali Shah also announced the installation of three additional machines on this occasion and appealed for support from philanthropists. He noted that medical education and public awareness will also play a crucial role in the fight against cancer.
