India’s policy toward Kashmir reflects promotion of Hindutwa extremism ideology: Naval Chief

Islamabad, February 28, 2020 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, has said that right to granting right to self-determination to the Kashmiris is the only solution to the Kashmir dispute. According to Kashmir Media Service, Raja Farooq Haider said this while addressing a seminar titled “Kashmir Issue – Revocation of Article 35-A and 370 of Indian Constitution: Options for Pakistan vis-a-vis Rising Hindutwa in India,” organized by National Institute of Maritime Affairs in Karachi.

 

Addressing the seminar, Pakistan Naval Chief, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, said India’s policy toward Kashmir reflects promotion of Hindutwa extremism ideology in the country. He said Kashmir issue has direct impact on maritime security and stability in the region. Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General (retired) Zubair Mahmood Hayat, and former ambassador Abdul Basit also addressed the seminar.
