The recent murder of a factory manager in the Hub Industrial Area has caused a severe shock in the industrial community, highlighting the urgent need for justice and enhanced security measures.
The Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) today expressed deep sorrow over the brutal murder of the Sarfraz Noor factory manager, who was killed by unknown assailants. In a statement issued on Monday, the chamber condemned the incident, highlighting the atmosphere of fear and insecurity among industrialists, investors, and workers. The motives behind the murder are still unclear, but the incident casts a serious light on the region’s law and order situation.
Expressing condolences to the bereaved family, the LCCI appealed to the Chief Secretary of Balochistan, the Inspector General of Police, and other law enforcement agencies to apprehend the culprits at the earliest to deliver justice.
Ismail Sattar, former president of the Lasbela Chamber and chairman of the Law and Order Committee, reiterated the need for a special industrial security force in the Hub Industrial Trading Estate. This force would be equipped with modern surveillance technologies, rapid response capabilities, and strict monitoring of entry and exit points to effectively prevent unauthorized access.
The chamber stressed the urgent need for implementing robust measures to restore the confidence of industrial partners and the workforce of the Hub Industrial Area. The LCCI assured full cooperation with administrative and law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and security in the region.
