Islamabad Traffic Police Introduces New Measures to Improve Traffic Flow Near Weekly Savings Bazaars

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has implemented new strategies to alleviate traffic congestion near weekly bazaars, following directives from Chief Traffic Officer, Capt. (retd) Hamzah Humayun. The initiative aims to ensure smooth vehicular movement and mitigate difficulties faced by shoppers. Senior ITP officials conducted site visits to assess traffic patterns and brief personnel on effective management techniques. Officers were directed to ensure strict adherence to their duties.

Personnel have been strategically stationed at entry/exit points, parking zones, and crucial locations to prevent disruptions. CTO Humayun urged the public to utilize designated parking spaces to avoid penalties and maintain traffic flow. He emphasized the ITP”s commitment to public convenience and order, urging citizens to observe traffic regulations. The CTO reiterated that safeguarding lives, property, and ensuring efficient traffic flow within the capital are paramount for the Islamabad Police.
