JKML delegation visits martyrs’ families in Pulwama, Islamabad

Srinagar, June 10, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League visited the residences of martyrs in Pulwama and Islamabad districts and extended their sympathies with the bereaved families.

The delegation was led by Muhammad Rafiq Ganai. While speaking to the mourners in Penjran, Pulwama, and Nowgam, Islamabad, he said, “India instead of taking measures to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective wants to thrust its choice on the Kashmiri people through the barrel of gun.”

While referring to the sacrifices rendered by our people especially youth, he said that hundreds of thousands of people had been killed and an economy worth trillions had suffered, but Indian brutalities and repression seemed to have no end.

“This gloomy situation has forced our highly qualified and professionals to fight back and pay the oppressor in the same coin. They prefer rendering their lives than living a life of slavery,” he added. He said that India must give up its rigidity and resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute. “This is the only way out to stop the ongoing bloodshed in the disputed region,” he said.
