A local court has sentenced a convict to death and a heavy fine after the proven crime of murder for refusing a relationship in the Basirpur area.
Additional Sessions Judge Depalpur today pronounced this harsh sentence on convict Rizwan, including a fine of one million rupees.
According to the prosecution’s statement, Rizwan murdered Falak Sher in the Basirpur area in 2024 when his romantic advances were rejected. The court announced its decision based on solid evidence and effective legal proceedings.
Police officials, expressing satisfaction, attributed the successful conviction and deserved death sentence to their exemplary investigations and the strength of the presented case.
They emphasized that individuals who commit such serious crimes do not deserve any leniency, and reiterated their commitment to upholding the rule of law in all circumstances.
