Karachi Keamari police solve blind murder case, dacoit gang arrested

Investigation Police Keamari has successfully solved a blind murder case by arresting a three-member gang involved in stabbing a citizen to death during a robbery.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tauheed Rehman Memon said on Monday that the accused allegedly killed the victim, identified as Waheed Ahmed, with a dagger and fled the scene after snatching his mobile phone.

SSP Memon stated that the accused, identified as Akbar, Ehtesham, and Rohail, were arrested based on technical evidence. He mentioned that the gang was particularly active in Keamari and South districts.

During the operation, authorities recovered the murder weapon and several snatched mobile phones from the possession of the arrested individuals. The SSP confirmed that all three have confessed to their involvement in numerous other robbery incidents.

It was revealed that the arrested individuals are habitual criminals and have been arrested before. According to SSP Investigation Keamari, cases of illegal weapons have also been registered against them.

A formal case has been registered against the accused at the SITE B police station. SSP Tauheed Rehman Memon added that further investigation is underway to learn more details about their other criminal activities.
