Law enforcement officers in Karachi today announced the swift arrest of the main suspect involved in the recent murder of a citizen during a robbery attempt near Johar Mor. This development comes within two days of the incident, demonstrating effective policing.
Shahrah-e-Faisal Police Station acted on actionable intelligence, conducting an operation around Dalmia graveyard. During the encounter, the individual identified as Jamal was taken into custody in an injured state after an exchange of fire. A weapon was also recovered from his possession.
Additional Inspector General Karachi, Azam Khan, praised the professional performance of the District East Police, specifically commending the efforts of DIG East, SSP East, and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Shahrah-e-Faisal, along with the entire police contingent.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, the Additional IG announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for the successful team. He directed law enforcement personnel to ensure the swift arrest of the absconding accomplice.
