The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, today encouraged Kashmiris living in the UK to unite and raise their voices for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. He emphasized the need to expose Indian atrocities to the international community.

According to a statement from the Jammu and Kashmir government, Chaudhry, speaking at a luncheon hosted by Zia Gorsi in Nottingham, stated that Kashmiris residing in the UK have previously effectively presented the Kashmir issue. He expressed hope that these expatriates would continue to voice their concerns for the resolution of the Kashmir issue and against Indian brutality.

The President of Azad Kashmir expressed concern over the increase in atrocities in occupied Kashmir by India. He exposed India’s claim of being a secular state, stating that India is oppressing minorities. He urged overseas Kashmiris to expose Indian atrocities at the global level.

President Chaudhry further stated that the Muslim Ummah should raise its voice in favor of the oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians. He condemned the atrocities committed by Israel against the oppressed Palestinians and expressed hope that Palestinians would also achieve freedom.

President Azad Kashmir invited participation in a public gathering scheduled for February 15 in Birmingham, stating that he would expose Indian atrocities on that occasion.
