Karachi: The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) has shown an increment across all tenors, with the one-week bid rate now at 10.26 percent and the one-year offer rate reaching 11.83 percent. These rates reflect the latest trends in the interbank lending market.
According to State Bank of Pakistan: The KIBOR rates for March 19, 2026, indicate that the two-week bid rate is currently at 10.34 percent, while the offer rate stands at 10.84 percent. The one-month tenor has a bid rate of 10.64 percent and an offer rate of 11.14 percent. For the three-month period, the bid rate is 11.11 percent, with the offer rate at 11.36 percent.
The data further shows that the six-month bid rate is 11.21 percent and the offer rate is 11.46 percent. The nine-month tenor sees a bid rate of 11.29 percent and an offer rate of 11.79 percent, concluding with the one-year bid rate at 11.33 percent and offer rate at 11.83 percent. These figures are critical for financial institutions as they set benchmarks for lending rates.
