KP received 2% less water: Shah

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said on Wednesday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) received two per cent less water than its due share.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the coalition government had planned to build dams in the country at a brisk pace, and that the Mohmand Dam would be completed in 2023.

“I will visit the sites of Dasu and Bhasha dams after four days, on June 12,” he informed. He further said that the government had to take some unpopular steps in a difficult economic situation.
