Land records system in Sindh is far better than other Provinces: Makhdoom Mehboub Zaman

Karachi, October 10, 2018 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Revenue and Relief Makhdoom Mehboub Zaman has said that through the projects like Automation , Land Administration and Revenue Management Information System (LARMIS) and Project Management Unit (PMU), Board of Revenue Sindh has initiated the Computerization of Land Revenue Record program with proper planning and is effectively managing, directing, monitoring and controlling the execution process of the program through an efficient team. It is highly needed to promote and project such remarkable achievement of Sindh government. This he said while presiding the meeting with Project Director LARMIS Aziz Ahmed Barlas and Project Director Automation Imtiaz Abro at his office today.

Minister Revenue added that revenue and Land records in Sindh are far better and digitalized than other provinces. The propaganda against the poor service delivery of Sindh government is totally baseless and bias. Sindh government is excelling in many sectors as compare to other provinces, in spite of shortage of resources. We need to project our initiatives and performance through media.

He also said that strict vigilance and monitoring has been started to improve the performance of Revenue and relief department. Makhdoom Mehboub Zaman has ensured the project directors that all issues regarding the salaries of employees working in different projects of Revenue Department will be resolved soon. I will personally meet with CM Sindh to discuss this matter.
