LARKANA: Larkana police on Saturday claimed to have arrested more than 60 criminals and recovered 41 motorcycles, 21 mobile phones, large quantities of drugs and a good number of weapons from them during their past quarter performance.

In this regard, ASP Ateeq ur Rehman Mekan said in a press conference at the SSP office that Larkana Police conducted comprehensive actions against criminals in the district during the past three months, in which 60 active criminals and 5 persons’ gang who were involved in robbing motorcycles and mobile phones were busted.

He said that after busting the gang, 41 motorcycles and 21 mobile phones were recovered from them. He said that Larkana police killed 4 bandits involved in inter-district crimes and arrested 16 with injuries and recovered one rifle, 58 pistols, 4 revolvers and 13 shotguns from their possession. He said that on the special instructions of IG Police Sindh, DIG and SSP, Larkana cops conducted operations against drug dealers and arrested 45 drug dealers and seized 33 kilos of hashish
