LARKANA:JUI-Fazal Provincial General Secretary, Maulana Rashid Mohmood Soomro, Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro, President, JUI-F Larkana and Muhabat Ali Khuhro in a press statement issued here on Monday said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has not yet been able to improve law and order situation of his constituency where lawlessness has become unprecedented and it has become Dubai for criminals as people are also suffering because of massive electric, gas load shedding and other core issues including unemployment.
They said citizens of Larkana, traders and poor people are unsafe because of increasing criminal incidents. They said thieves, land grabbers have encroached upon roads, streets and Muhallas and police have been confined to police stations only. They said Ayoob Colony located within the jurisdiction of Hyderi police station has become a safe haven for thieves and robbers because electricity meters are being stolen from there daily. They said posted officers are only involved in extortion without any relief to the residents as they cannot get rid of a few criminals.
They said a hurricane of inflation, historic unemployment and lawlessness has crippled lives here and one time food is very difficult for the people to earn. They said people are now crying for a replacement of leadership who can provide them respite from a very difficult time. They said the law and order situation is the worst nowadays in the entire Larkana district but rulers are comfortably sleeping in their places and people are guarding their belongings themselves. They said corruption kings have ruined lives of the people and have let loose all the criminals. They said the PPP government has already deprived Larkanians of development but now they have been looted of peace and tranquility as well.
