Light rain in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dry weather across the country, cold nights forecast in mountainous areas

The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast dry weather in most parts of the country. However, residents of mountainous areas will experience cold temperatures during the night and morning hours.

Meanwhile, light rain is expected in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, providing a brief respite from the dry weather.

Temperatures recorded in the morning in various cities present a diverse weather picture: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad both at 15 degrees Celsius, while Lahore had a warmer start at 21 degrees Celsius. Karachi was at 23 degrees Celsius, Peshawar at 19 degrees Celsius, and a cooler weather of 10 degrees Celsius was observed in Quetta and Murree. The lowest temperature was recorded in Gilgit at 8 degrees Celsius.

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast expects partly cloudy skies in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, the weather is expected to remain dry in Jammu and Leh. The morning temperatures were recorded as follows: 10 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula, 18 degrees Celsius in Jammu, minus 0 degrees Celsius in Leh, and 11 degrees Celsius in Shopian.
