Low-Cost Housing Scheme launched under Governor Initiatives

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has announced the launch of a “Low-Cost Housing Scheme” under the Governor Initiatives in collaboration with Saima Builders, aimed at providing affordable housing to underprivileged families.

According to a statement by Sindh Governor today, speaking at the 40th-anniversary celebration of Saima Group of Companies, Governor Sindh said, “This initiative will help middle-class families build their homes within their budgets.”

Addressing the media at the event, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori expressed concern about the economic and social challenges faced by the people of the province. He emphasized that the housing project would directly benefit the public, ensuring affordability for all. He also announced consultations with various stakeholders to design a comprehensive plan for the scheme.

The Governor stated, “Efforts are being made to restore Karachi’s vibrancy and ensure the province’s development in every possible way.” Highlighting the ongoing initiatives, he mentioned that 50,000 students are currently enrolled in modern IT courses at Governor House. Additionally, programs like the Free Laptop Scheme, distribution of rations to the needy, Bell of Hope, Motorbike Distribution Scheme, and funding for small and large-scale businesses are also in progress.

Earlier, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori participated in a ceremony held at Saima Green and cut the cake to mark Saima Group of Companies’ 40th anniversary.

Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem met with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House to discuss the promotion of sports under the Governor Initiatives. During the meeting, Arshad Nadeem congratulated the Governor on the successful organization of the Karachi Marathon.

Arshad Nadeem commended the Governor Initiatives, calling them a significant milestone in promoting sports across the province. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized that due to a lack of resources, many talented athletes are unable to progress. He assured that all talented athletes in the province would receive every possible support and encouraged them to approach the Governor House for assistance.
