Main problem of QESCO termed recovery of outstanding dues

QUETTA:Muhammad Arif, Chief Executive Officer, QESCO has said main problem of QESCO in Balochistan was not the dearth of electricity rather recovery of outstanding dues. He said work on 14 new feeders in Quetta was underway while two new Grid Stations in Nuhsar and Hazarganji were required to be installed on urgent basis. These views were expressed by him in a meeting held here on Wednesday with office bearers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quetta.

Muhammad Arif, Chief Executive Officer, QESCO said that traders and industrialists were playing the role of backbone in the economy of country and province. He added that government had announced special package for the industries and members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry would soon be acquainted with the package to be introduced by the federal government for industrialists.

On the occasion, Haji Akhtar Kakar, Vice President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former President, Juma Khan Badizai, members Salauddin Khilji, Dr. Dad Muhammad, Essa Khan Kharotae, Syed Abdul Rehman Agha, Syed Ahad Agha and others were also present.
