KARACHI:Met office said on Saturday that a weak westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country today and likely to persist in upper parts of the country till Sunday.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy in upper parts. However, light rain-winds/snowfall is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, North Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region and Northeastern Punjab during evening/night.
Sunday weather
Light rain-winds/snowfall is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar Region and North East Punjab. However, smog/fog is likely to decrease in plain areas of Punjab during morning/night hours. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
