A major fall was seen in the prices of gold and silver on Thursday in the domestic and global gold market. The price of gold per tola decreased by a massive Rs 24,300 to become Rs 499,462.
Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold also fell by Rs 20,833 to Rs 428,208.
The same bearish trend prevailed in the international market, where the price of gold closed at $4,767 per ounce after a drop of $243.
In another development, the price of silver also decreased, and the rate of silver per tola in the country fell by Rs 760.
After this decrease, the new price of one tola of silver was recorded at Rs 7,734.
