Maleeha thanked for raising Kashmir dispute at UN

Srinagar, February 08, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the President of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Muhammad Sultan Magray, has thanked Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Maleeha Lodhi for urging the UN Security Council to implement its relevant resolutions on Kashmir.

Maleeha Lodhi speaking in the debate on the Working Methods of the Security Council had said that the Council should periodically review the implementation of its resolutions, especially on longstanding issues like the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Muhammad Sultan Magray addressing a party meeting in Srinagar, today, said that time had come for peaceful settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He urged both India and Pakistan to come forward and hammer out a negotiable settlement of the dispute so that permanent peace could be established in the region.
