Kashmir has never remained part of India: Sehrai

Srinagar, February 08, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has said that Jammu and Kashmir has never remained part of India. Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, who is under house arrest in Srinagar, in a statement said that India had occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the will of the Kashmiri people by landing its troops in the territory on October 27, 1947.

He said that the people of Kashmir had been rendering unprecedented sacrifices for last several decades to secure their right to self-determination and would continue their struggle till complete success. Thanking the government and people of Pakistan for their continued moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ liberation struggle, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that Pakistan was a great blessing of Allah Almighty for the Muslims of the entire world.

He urged Pakistan to further accelerate its efforts and project more vigorously the human rights violations by the Indian forces in the occupied territory at international level. He also prayed for peace, prosperity, integrity and solidarity of Pakistan.
