District Malir Police, during a crackdown against elements stealing valuable items from the steel mill, on Monday arrested a person and recovered stolen steel plates.
The suspect taken into custody by Bin Qasim police has been identified as Babda Ali.
Law enforcement personnel acted on a secret tip-off, which resulted in the successful arrest of the alleged suspect involved in the theft of iron and scrap within the police station’s jurisdiction.
The recovered steel plates were found in the possession of the arrested person.
According to authorities, the suspect used to sell the illegally obtained scrap materials at various locations.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect in accordance with the law, and further investigation is underway.
