GHOTKI:A heartless man axed his wife to death in Mazar Chachar, a suburban village of Obaro, district Ghotki, Sindh, over a property dispute and fled away on Saturday.
As soon as the police learnt about the incident, they rushed to the crime scene and took body of the woman named Sughran as well as the axe used for the murder into their possession.
Initially the body was shifted to Civil Hospital, Obaro for the post-mortem.
However, since there was no lady doctor available there, it was taken to Civil Hospital in Daharki.
Police said they were conducting raids for the arrest of the suspect named Qadir Bux Chachar.
