QUETTA: A man committed suicide near the grave of his mother here on Friday.
According to police, Shoukat Ali, son of Dr Muhammad Raza, a resident of Aliabad, Hazara town, shot himself dead near the grave of his mother at Hazara graveyard, Hazara Town area of Quetta.
On information, the police reached the site of the incident and shifted the body to hospital where after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities, it was handed over to the heirs.
The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victim’s home. The motive behind the suicide could not be ascertained till filing this report. Further investigation was underway, the police added.
