LAHORE: A man killed his ex-wife with a sharp-edged weapon in Lahore on Wednesday. According to police, the man, Zafar Iqbal, attacked his ex-wife Zaibun Nisa, aged 45, with a sharp-edged weapon. As a result, she suffered serious injuries.
She was rushed to a local hospital where she succumbed to the injuries. Police collected evidence from the crime scene. They shifted the body of the slain woman to the city morgue. The accused had divorced Zaibun Nisa some time back. He later offered her reconciliation but she denied following which she was killed.
