A horrifying domestic tragedy unfolded in Quetta’s Wahdat Colony on Monday, where a man allegedly shot dead his wife and four children before attempting to end his own life, police said.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred inside a residential home, where the suspect opened fire on his family members, killing all five on the spot.
Police reported that after the killings, the man reportedly turned the weapon on himself, sustaining critical injuries. He was immediately shifted to hospital for medical treatment.
Soon after the incident, police and other security personnel reached the scene, sealed off the area, and began collecting forensic evidence as part of the investigation.
The bodies were later brought to Civil Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities. The police has started investigation to determine the motive behind the incident.
