Man shot dead on resistance; woman committed suicide

A man was shot dead when he put up resistance to robbers, a woman hanged herself and four people got injured over altercation in various locations of Karachi.

Tragically, Amir Sultan, aged 35, was fatally shot during a robbery attempt in Defence, Phase 01. His body was transported to JPMC, and authorities are investigating the incident.

The hanging body of 17-year-old Muskan was discovered in Machar Colony in Maripur police precinct. The dead body was shifted to Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The area police has started investigation to find if there was any foul play behind the apparent suicide.

In the early hours, Arbab, a 25-year-old, was shot and injured over a personal dispute at Pathan Colony near Malang Hotel. He was swiftly transported to ASH for medical care.

Meanwhile, in Surjani Town, Syed Inam Ali, reportedly between 75 and 80 years old, suffered gunshot injuries at his home due to a family dispute. He was also taken to ASH for treatment.

In Korangi, 27-year-old Seema sustained injuries from a shooting incident near Korangi Coast Guard Chowrangi. She was transferred to JPMC for medical attention.

Other incidents included the stabbing of Harya, aged 50, during a personal altercation near Quetta Bus Adda.

The police are actively pursuing leads and have initiated investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding these incidents.
