The arrangements for the polio campaign were reviewed in a meeting chaired by Assistant Commissioner Ghorabari, Faraz Ahmed Abbasi.

It was stated in a statement issued today that the meeting was attended by representatives of various concerned departments, health officials, in-charges of vaccination teams, and delegates from social organizations.

During the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Abbasi issued strict instructions to all staff that the success of the polio campaign depends on each department playing its role with utmost honesty. He strongly appealed to parents to have their children vaccinated to avoid lifelong physical disability.

The necessary logistic aspects of the campaign were also discussed in detail in the meeting.
