KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Irrigation Department Jam Khan Shoro has presided over a high level meeting to review the status of all ongoing development schemes of Irrigation Department including ADP schemes and different projects of Sindh Barrages Improvement and others in detail at Karachi office today.
The meeting was attended by the Special Secretary Technical Irrigation Jamal Maghan, Director Regulations Shahbaz Akhtar, Qasim Chaang and other relevant officers. The relevant officers of the Irrigation Department gave a detailed briefing to the Minister Irrigation about all ongoing ADP schemes and different development schemes of the Sindh Barrages Improvement project.
While presiding over the meeting, Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro strictly directed the concerned officers of the department that they should take serious steps for the completion of all the development projects. He further directed them that they should also take efforts for speedy completion of all ongoing annual development projects, schemes of Sindh Barrage Improvements and other projects and the progress report of the same should be submitted in the department as soon as possible.
The provincial minister also said them that the progress report of all the development projects of the irrigation department whose PC-1 has not yet been submitted should also be sent to the department as soon as possible so that the fruits of these projects can be transferred to the people.
