The body of a 12-year-old boy was found today in a vacant house in Sohrab Goth. Authorities have confirmed that the search for a 12-year-old boy, who went missing earlier this month, came to a tragic end with the discovery of his remains inside a vacant, locked house in the Sohrab Goth area.

The deceased was identified as Naseemullah, son of Ehsan Masood. The young boy, a student at a local madrasa, had been missing since December 2, when he left his residence for classes and did not return.

The family had been actively searching for the boy, whose father was reportedly at the Chaman border at the time of his son’s disappearance.

According to the initial police statement, the boy’s death is believed to be accidental. Evidence suggests that Naseemullah was attempting to climb the wall of the uninhabited house when it collapsed.

Law enforcement officials theorize that the fatal injury occurred when a stone from the collapsing wall struck the boy on the head.

The house where the body was found had been secured by its new owner. Authorities added that the house was previously owned by an Afghan citizen.
